There's a lot that we can do with that screen. It's a really cool system -- it's pretty powerful. I want to be careful, because I don't want to risk any sensitive information that Nintendo's not ready to share yet, but in our experience it's a great system. Wii U seria lanzada el 18 de noviembre en America.

US gets it one week before Japan, says internal email.

Nintendo's new Wii U home console launches in the US on Sunday 18th November, according to a leaked internal email from a leading Japanese retailer.

As picked up by WiiUDaily, the memo in question was circulated among staff at the Tokyo-based store before finding its way into the wild.

According to the email, a Japanese launch apparently follows a week later, though there was no mention of a European date.

The original Wii launched in the US on 19th November 2006, also a Sunday, with Japanese gamers getting it two weeks later and Europe three weeks later.

Nintendo is expected to offer up more details about the launch during this year's E3 show in Los Angeles during the first week of June.


Wii U seria perfecta para juegos MMORPG

Funcom developer Joel Bylos has told the official Nintendo magazine that he thinks that the Wii U will be the perfect home console for MMORPG’s due to the consoles innovative touch screen. Bylos believes that the Wii U could be the first console to run a massively multiplayer online role playing game without any compromise.

“Wii U could be the first real console on which running an MMORPG without compromise is plausible. The controller is perfect for lining up those rows of hotbars that are essential in most MMOs. A customisable touchscreen interface combined with the 3D spatial movement of a console controller could be a winner.”

Asi funcionara Assassin's Creed en la Wii U

Assassin's Creed III is coming to Nintendo's newest console. We don't have a release date for either yet, but details about how the game utilizes the controller have finally surfaced.

Courtesy of the latest issue of Nintendo Power, the tablet-style controller does a variety of things for players. It displays a persistent map of the game and allows you to quickly switch between weapons in combat. The screen also acts as an alternative view for Eagle Vision using the built-in accelerometer.

Additionally, the controller is linked to the Animus, allowing you to read character biographies and other database information. For more details, be sure to pick up the latest Nintendo Power.

Ha pasado casi un año nuevamente y de nuevo volvemos a las andadas. Tras dedicarme de lleno a la universidad, descubrir que mi tablet no se ajustaba a lo que necesitaba para el blog, y mi vida social he decidido volver a darle un chance a este blog nintendero. No con el afan de ser el primer blog en informar todo; pero si con la intención de informar como es debido.
